Six Christmas Gift ideas under £20
It’s Christmas time and, at some point, it’s likely you’ll have to get a gift for someone you HAVE NO IDEA what to get.
Maybe you signed up to secret Santa, or the giftee is an acquaintance and you don’t know what they’d like, or maybe… the thought of buying a gift just fills you with dread.
Everyone has their different interests, so when it comes to gifts one-size certainly doesn’t fit all. But, I’ve compiled a list of potential gifts that can be appreciated by most people, regardless of taste.
1. Snuggly grey scarf
Hey, it’s winter, so you can never have too many scarves and this one, in a lovely light grey, is a perfect neutral colour to please anyone. You can’t go wrong.
2. Seasonal candle
Most people appreciate a scented candle, especially a luxury one like this. What I love about the White Company candles is that you get the occasional scent of it even when it’s not burning. Plus, the packaging is so minimal, it’ll go with anyone’s home decor. My personal fave is ‘Seychelles’.
3. Regenerated leather bag
A small crossbody bag is always a handy thing to have and this one in recycled suede is simple, but classy. This festive raspberry red colour fits the bill perfectly for a Christmas gift.
4. Personalised mug
This one’s an easy gift, but the personalisation also makes it a thoughtful one. Maybe you don’t know them very well, but you must know the initial of their first name! Plus, mug comes in handy for any hot drink… or, y’ know, wine… if they’re a student or averse to washing up.
5. Jo Malone moisturiser
Hand and body moisturiser is always a good thing to have. But, buying a luxury one like this for oneself seems a little extravagant, so it’d be a nice surprise to receive this as a gift. This will also look lovely on a dressing table. Who doesn’t like a little something from Jo Malone?
6. Naked basics palette by Urban Decay
The good thing about this palette is that its six stripped-down, neutral shades in a matte finish means that even if your recipient is not a huge eyeshadow-user, it’s subtle and versatile enough to suit them.
